Insurance Analysis

Lauren Olsen , CFP®, CLU, ChFC®, FLMI, RP®, CFP®, CLU, ChFC®, FLMI, R®

Lauren Olsen began her career in the financial services industry in 1988 with a General Agency for General American and Guardian Life. She has worked in the areas of underwriting, investments, and office management with primary focus in life insurance marketing including case development and advanced underwriting.

Lauren holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Marketing. She earned her FLMI designation in 2000 and joined Lincoln Financial Advisors that same year as Case Design Manager in the Insurance Department. She assumed the role of Director of Insurance in 2001 and earned her CLU and ChFC designations in 2002. Lauren became a registered representative as well as earning her CFP® certification in 2003. Lauren was promoted to her current role as Director of Planning in June, 2005.

Investment Planning

Nasser Ali, CFA, CFP®, AAMS, CMFC

Prior to his employment with Lincoln Financial Advisors, Nasser worked for Legg Mason where he was a Portfolio Manager responsible for managing customized investment portfolios totaling close to $400 million. He also held various investment positions with the subsidiaries of Acacia Mutual Life Insurance, including an analyst position with Acacia's subsidiary, Calvert Funds.

Nasser earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland. Nasser earned the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 2000 and CFP® certification in 2004. He also earned his AAMS (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) and CMFC (Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant) certifications in 1998 and 1996, respectively. He is a member of the Association of Investment Management and Research and the Baltimore Security Analysts Society. Additionally, Nasser has published an article in the Encyclopedia of World Terrorism entitled "The Impact of 9/11 on the Global Economy."

Investment Planning

David K. Downing

David received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance with a specialization in financial planning from Bowling Green State University in May of 2002.

David has been with Lincoln Financial Advisors/Sagemark Consulting in Cleveland since May of 2000, where he started as an intern for the Planning Department. In June of 2002, he began his own financial planning practice with Lincoln.

In 2004, David was asked to join the Planning Department as a Case Manager. He continues to maintain an active book of business.
